Listen up, hotshot...
So you think you can handle a galaxy run? Well, I've got news for you - it's gonna be rougher than a sarlacc's dinner party out there. But don't worry, I'm gonna give you the crash course on staying alive long enough to matter.
About Your Ship
That bucket of bolts you're flying? The Century Eagle? Yeah, it's a cheap knockoff of the Millennium Falcon - probably built in some back-alley shipyard on Nar Shaddaa. But hey, don't let that worry you. She's got good bones, decent shields, and more importantly, she's yours. I've seen worse ships make the Kessel Run... barely.
Your Mission
The Rebellion needs intelligence data from across the galaxy, and you're gonna get it for them. Start at Tatooine - tap it on your nav computer - then work your way through the galaxy collecting scrap and intel. Think of it as a really dangerous treasure hunt where the treasure shoots back.
Ship Systems (Pay Attention, Kid)
Hull Integrity: The Century Eagle starts at 100 HP. You can boost it past 100 with upgrades - trust me, you'll want to. When it hits zero, you're dead in space until you can patch her up.
What You Can Do Out There:
- Salvage/Trade: Scrounge up scrap metal. Sometimes locals call it "trading" - same thing, different name.
- Fight: Mix it up with hostiles. Gets you scrap and intel, but also gets you shot at. Fair trade.
- Evade: Run away when things get too hot. No shame in living to fight another day.
- Upgrade: Use that scrap metal to soup up your systems. One scrap gives you 10 HP - not bad for space junk.
Survival Tips (From Someone Who's Been There)
- Fight early and often while you're still fresh - combat gets nastier the longer you're out there
- Hoard scrap metal like your life depends on it... because it does
- Each system has different odds - some are easier pickings than others
- You can only move forward through the galaxy - no backsies, so choose your route wisely
- Intelligence data wins the war, but staying alive wins the day
Final Words
Look, I'm not gonna sugarcoat this - half the ships that try this run don't come back. But you've got something the others didn't: me telling you how not to screw it up. The Century Eagle might not look like much, but she's got it where it counts. I've made a lot of special modifications myself... well, not on your ship, but you get the idea.
May the Force be with you, kid. You're gonna need it.
